REDRC: AKA Evo 1/10th buggy wheels & Slingshot tires

AKA introduce the new Evo line of 1/10th buggy wheels along suitable tires and updated closed cell inserts. The Evo wheels adapt the L-shaped 1/8 buggy bead to the smaller 1/10 wheels in order to make tyre mounting much easier. Giving a wider and easily accessible gluing surface ensures a stronger bond between the tyre and wheel making them ideal for modified and stock racing alike. The Evo wheel has been redesigned to be stronger, stiffer, and also features pre-punched vent holes in the wheel. Along with the redesigned wheel AKA have reworked their popular Red inserts to fit the new tyre package. The rims will become available from November in yellow and while color an as specific variants for Associated, Kyosho and TLR 2WD and 4WD vehicles. As for the tires, first up for is the Slingshot, a very low tread pattern optimized for hard-packed indoor tracks. The new carcass features the 1/8 style bead, a refined tread profile, and is available in the race proven Clay and Super Soft compounds.
