    Anyone have any experience with Century Helicopter? I am looking at the Radikal G20 LT G10 600 size gasser:

    Looks good in pictures and YouTubes, and it is the size I like..........

    Sorry bud not enough helicopter freaks around here to know this bird hands-on and it's certain I don't own one, someday maybe but for now nope. From what I've heard there up there on par with most of the top brand GASSERS available, well maybe not as good a Bergen GASSERS but close enough IMO. FYI: For those of us who don't know of Burgen GASSER Heli's and who especially don't know of their Turbine Powered birds, click HERE. Yup back to the point the Radical is a FINE helicopter and would be the envy of any fleet I'm sure ... For what it's worth that's about all I have for ya PP although I'm sure our friends over at Helifreak (Century) will have more input and maybe have an owner of two which  could offer more input for y'all ... But if ya do get one WELL then CONGRATS w/ the customary side order of jealousy of course {hehe}

    Yeah I just figured I would test the waters to see if anyone here had ever dealt with them since they have been around a while. I always figured a "real" gasser (Not home made) would be far too expensive for me to ever afford until I discovered Century. After more research I am impressed, everyone at HeliFreak is very happy with the Radikal (Which has only been out for two years now), and the company is what I am looking for as far as support. They are a big company with a lot of dealerships worldwide. So parts should be very readily available. What I like the most about the G20 is that it is the only 600 size gasser production helicopter, all others are .90/700 size with a price tag to match. The G20 LT G10 can be built for about $1,100 minus radio gear. So far this is the cheapest gasser I can find from a larger (not custom) company.

    Seems to fly really good with lots of power.

    Yup I also think the Centuries per say are WINNERS and know it I really HATE making recommendations! But anyone of the Radikal's would be my choice and for the reasons you mentioned above

    Now don't take what I'm going to say next personally but reading between the lines I'm getting the impression your thinking of giving up on your DIY GASSER and my apologies if I'm incorrect as my words are only designed to challenge? But if TRUE then DON'T because I don't think you haven't tried everything there is to try!

    I believe from the video's you have shown us to date she wants to fly but you just haven't HIT on that one idea or solution or two that will make her a great and worthy Flying Mean Machine. Try re-thinking and/or re-visiting some of the "ideas" you have dismissed as not working, bet you'll find your answers there ...

    But "WHEN" you DO get yur DIY Piston Pound'er flying don't LET that STOP ya from getting the RADi ... and the Nay-Sayers can JUST just keep their particular brand of sunshine out of it {LOL} J/K, almost

    heheh, I JUST LOVE spending other peoples MONEY

    No, I have not given up, it is in the garage and I will be adding my new AR6200 to it today and trying it out. There is a new carburator on it and I think with exhaust mods it will fly. But, I really want a high performance, long run time, factory gasser machine. As much as I enjoy building things, sometimes when I crash I just want to be able to swipe my problems away with a credit card rather than go out and spend 10 hours making all custom replacement parts  :)

    But also if I do get this thing flying, I already know that it will never do tic toks, or even a roll for that matter. Talking with the dealer and other people online I believe the G20 has about 5 Lbs of payload capacity which will allow me to do a lot of non traditional things that I like to do (FPV gear, external loads, air drops, beer delivery to the hunters camp via FPV, etc.)

    First time I went to London I was standing in the "line" at McDonald's for lunch, a man asked me if I was in the "Q", I looked down at the floor and did not see a "Q" painted there so I said "No?", then he cut in front of me and placed his order..................
