I have had this one for a couple of months finally got around to painting it I'm not done yet but only have to clear coat and polish any way have a look and enjoy
It's been warming a bit of late but we had three weeks of daytime highs under 25 and single digit night time lows only boat I can run right now is my air boat
It's a k&s pacer 1/6 scale with a oz 65 nitro spinning a 12/10 prop this thing rips through the snow and water
I run it around on my lawn it only goes about 10-15 mph on dry grass it will go 25-30 on snow and 40-50 on water I've ran it across gravel and sand bars and tall grass is no problem you can build a RC hover craft there is a local group that built there 1/1 scale one from plans they found some where online or watch flea bay tyco built one back in the 80s it was called the typhoon they made a mini and a 1/10 version but a home built one could be a lot better I had a typhoon back in the day they arnt very good I would use edf for the lift and a pair of three blade pusher props with twin brushless motors I have seen many hover crafts if you decide to build one let me know if I can be any help
There a bunch on YouTube most I've seen don't float I would want mine to float for sure just so if it died on the water it won't sink there are several on YouTube so somebody is making them
Here is another option it's a little more coin but still under 100 bucks http://www.consumersupermall.com/co...super-t-5-racing-hovercraft-camo?cPath=25811&
