this is going to sound odd here i think,i had someone trade me some old comics for money they owe me. i have a 1944 super magician worth $250,does anyone know someone possibly interested? thanks
eBay. You will have a global audience of buyers so if it is worth $250 you will get it and possibly more. Just make your starting price the minimum you will take for the item and let the bidding begin.
thanks you guys for the responsesj suggestions! i have it posted on craigslist thats what the comic store owner suggested. i have no computer to do the ebay thing. i use my phone for web access& it only has a simple web browser.
My experience is you get a better price selling on eBay, not to mention the much larger audience, but you will also have some costs for the listing. The other thing is when your auction ends on eBay that's the price you will get. It is not uncommon to agree to sell something on Craigslist and then the buyer want to haggle with you afterwards. There are services that will sell your stuff on eBay for you. Some work on a percentage, others a fixed price.
IMO best to list on all the services you can find, eBay, Craigslist, HERE in the Buy & Sell, Comic Book Forums Buy & Sell, any others recommended and any others YOU can find ... As said the larger your audience the better your chances and better your chances of getting the BEST price
