I agree to some extent, my thinking as of late is to have at least someone different at the table than the last person sitting there getting fat off of us.  The thing that worries me is all the people I hear saying they are going to vote for Ron Paul, this kills me in the political process, what they do not understand is if they vote for him that could be a vote for either side basically since it will be tallied as such later.  I hope that Romney can get in and do better, but I will attest he is not my first choice but I hope he will be better than the last choice that was made.

Why are there 50 choices for Miss America, but only two for president?

I didn't appreciate the language you picked in that first post, but I certainly understand your frustration with the choices we have.  Nevertheless, at this point, these are our choices so we need to make the best of it.  If Obama stays, he will surely deliver the death blow to what was America.  With Romney, at least we have a better chance of survival until someone better comes along.  As for Miss America, we did have other choices a the start of the process and it's narrowed down to these.  I'm sure you can imagine what would happen if you had 50 names on the ballot.  This really isn't much different than the Miss America process.  We're down the the finalists.  Both are dirt bags.  One is a scum sucking totally worthless POS dirt bag that has now shown his colors so we need to throw him under the bus.  He can't possibly do as much damage as the guy we have now!

You and I will not feel a difference regardless which candidate wins.  The only folks who will be better off will be their lobbyists.  The ones getting thrown under the bus are us.
