John - Do you have any experience with these? I've been using CREE with reasonable success, but they are not cheap. I don't know anything about the Phillips LED's.

John, we also have CREE but I purchased four boxes (8 bulbs) of these Philips because the deal was too hard to pass up.
I A-B tested one of these Philips bulbs with a comparable CREE and the light output was similar. The philips bulb is somewhat smaller than the CREE but they both weigh about the same. The warranty is good. I am happy with these Philips bulbs. I plan to buy more just to keep them in stock before the sale is over.

One more question... What is the color temperature? I really like the 5000K-6000K ones (cool white).

Oops... I just clicked on your link and they are 2700K. Not interested.

Yes, these are 2700K, I don't know if they make cooler color temperatures in this model, you'd have to check.

We've used both color temperatures and removed the cooler ones. We like this warmer color temperature better than the hospital fluorescent similar temperature type, but we are using these in our home, in a workshop the 5-6K versions make more sense.
