Our club president of our local rc club got banned from here?

I haven't heard of any reason for being banned. although, I don't actually have that authority anyway. Send a PM to Admin or GPS.

I see what happened.  During a recent maintenance, which occurred since Steve 40's last login, we consolidated some of the spam filters.  It looks like he was being filtered.  His being blocked was by no means intentional.

On average this forum gets over 2000 spam user registration attacks per week, most are caught in our custom filters which we have developed with a lot of effort over a number of years to get them working as well as they do today.  Three of the many filters were consolidated rather broadly and it appears Steve 40 was affected.

Please have him try logging in again and let me know if he experiences any difficulty.
