Haven't seen one of those in many years, looks like that's a spinoff of the one's we used to have. Here's a link for you. http://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/quadtrax-tarantula-remote-control-113069778
That link looks exactly like what I've got here. The mechanics look like it could rotate the tracks "up on it's toes" in addition to the forward tank-like track motion. The problem is the transmitter is missing.
Do you know how many channels the radio system was? To me it looks like this: (remember I never saw one and don't have a transmitter I'm just looking at the electronics and mechanics inside.) - Forward (both tracks) - Turn left (right track faster than left tracks) - Turn right (left tracks faster than right tracks) - Rotate track arms. So what I don't know is: - Could the track arms rotate independently/individually? - Did the track arms rotate as pairs? (example: both front together or front plus rear pairs together?) - Could the track arms rotate 360 degrees or only partly and then need to rotate backwards?
