Novak: Pulse Updated with M12 SSR Mode

The latest update to Novak's flagship racing ESC, the Pulse (#1755), addresses changes that are coming from the transmitters and receivers. Extremely fast frame rate systems are starting to be developed and offered that allow for improved feel and performance to the driver. To take advantage of this faster transmitter technology, Novak engineers have added a new ESC setting to the Pulse platform, the Trans/Receiver Rate selection. This updated setting is a major performance improvement when used with the Airtronics/Sanwa M12 radio system operating in its SSR Mode, and when using an FH4 High-Speed capable Receiver.

Our new exclusive High-Rate PPM firmware update allows the Pulse ESC to be run in an ultra-high speed PPM mode. The Pulse maintains the high throttle fidelity while interfacing with the high-rate PPM transmitters. At these high rates the PPM delta between full brake and full throttle is very small and the normal speed control cannot resolve the small pulse width changes. At 100% EPA our new software generates more than 1100 steps of ultra smooth pulse width control from zero to 100% power.
