    What are you doing today?

Think it's a given NOT every DAY is about Rc ...
... that in mind I decided to modify my Dual-Monitor Wallpaper and thought I would share what I used to get the following

If a photo editor jockey yourself and would like to try I used the a PaintShop Pro Plug-In (Topaz/Adjust/30 day Trial Vs) ...
... which also works in most if not ALL PhotoShop Editors, MAC or Win. The Plug-in can do so much more, for more info
and for some excellent examples click the LINK

This is teh original which is pretty good and does make for a good Dual-Monitor Wallpaper without the modifications

It looks like those HDR (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_dynamic_range_imaging) photos that are becoming so popular.

Yup HDR Imaging is the new BUZZ WORD around town  [IMG]

High Dynamic imaging can be used to FIX and to especially bring out what might be lost in the shadows or to make closer to the way our eyes naturally see. Or HDR can be used "artistically" or {LMAO} some would say HDR has the potential to be VERY overused. Yes we have two schools of thought when talking about HDR Photography and it's a fine line between used well and being very much overused. LOL, at what point does a Can of Soup become ART !?!

It's a given we have to include the "surreal", this kind of surreal

AnyhowZ NOT every DAY is about Rc [IMG]

So I setup my Wireless (2.4GHz) Monitor for my D90

Sorry for the CRAP photo, it's unbelievable how crappy the iPods camera can be. Granted there was very little light so normally I would expect allot of Noise but no amount of photo editing would help THIS next shot

Anyway what I missed about my old Sony was it's articulating monitor. Having "disabilities" using the cameras on board monitor can be awkward at best so having the 2.4GHz Wireless Monitor gives back what I missed about my old Sony

It supports AV-In via 1/8" Stereo, but i have not range tested so I can't comment about it's range. Although the specs do mention it's range is "up to 100 meters"

Meh, good enough for photography but not so great for flying so we would have to limit it to short range work ... Good enough for Aerial Photography, good enough as an Aerial Viewfinder and what I also intend for this Monitor ;) Nope I wouldn't recommend this monitor for any FPV Flying

Above just because it was so crappy it looks like an HDR photo don't it !?!, LMAO

Yes, I really like the photo.  I like the floor and desk a lot.  Realistic or not, I'd be happy to have a wood floor like that.  You didn't say if it is your place or not, but by the helicopters there I am guessing it is.  :)

Okay guys, I have to show off a little project I had been working on that put my heli build on hold more than once.
My "new to me" boat I showed you late last summer now has a dry place to winter.

    Excellent work Bill!

Did you bend those roof poles yourself?

    Thanks John,

No, the poles were pre-bent. I actually got a bit of a deal on the poles. The outfit I bought them from has gone from the round poles to square for their sheds. These were leftover stock and mostly had the correct angles, though a few had to be "tweaked" a little to match the others.
Sadly, the excavation work, I had to contract out. I could not rent the equipment needed for less than the fella you see there could do it. The paving as well. That is a part of what I used to do for a living but on a larger scale.  ::)

Let's see what some others have been doing in their off time;)

I think you need to load up that motor home there and come down to the float fly that Golden Child's club puts on.  You know I started their training program for airplanes.  They have created a great program and even gotten some brand new trainer planes and buddy box systems.  Their flying field is simply amazing and in a beautiful setting up in the hills of Kerby.

That's not out of the question. My spouse will be retired also in a little over two months and the MH is definitely going to get some more use.
Provided we can afford the petrol.    ???
