Very exciting news! This had to happen sometime. I looked up the Airborne Innovations web page - http://www.airborneinnovations.com/ai/?page_id=369 - to find more info, but the uSAS news story pretty much covered it all. No price yet, but with this one hitting the market, more are sure to come Very cool indeed!
I hope I am wrong, but my guess is between $1,000 - $5,000 ? Did you notice they have an un-licensed band version?
On second thought, at the bottom of the page the last sentance is: "Please get in touch with your requirements!" That kind of verbage would indicate a smaller company, Honeywell or Motorola would never print anything like that on a page intended for possible military customers....... So that might mean it will be within reach for the rest of us.......
