Best LOCAL bet is RC Addiction in Central Point - http://rcaddiction.com/. Never gone there that they didn't have what I needed. Always happy with their selection. As for online, try http://www.amainhobbies.com/. Great selection and excellent prices. Good luck!
rc addiction i have had the same luck they never have the part i need or tell me they can not get it.
have you tried sleadds? adam always goes outta his way to help me.i would call them and see whats up.
Local options, I'd go to R/C Addiction. They generally have a large selection of stuff, but it's pretty dated. Lately I haven't had luck with them stocking parts for newer cars. (They have a 22T on the shelf, but have no parts for it ) But, my last transaction there left me a little speechless. $13 for a single MC59 glow plug. A Main Hobbies sells the same plug for $5.99 and has a comparable plug on sale for $2.99. I order almost all of my parts exclusively from A Main Hobbies, though. Great selection, great prices and they're in Chico so even "regular" USPS shipping usually shows up in 3 days. www.amainhobbies.com
yea i know what you mean by that. been there a few times and i have found that they are alot high priced than even al's hobby here in medford. and i looked on that a main site and no luck. Do you or anyone on this site know if a traxxas spur gear will fit on my duratraxx slipper pad?
Generally speaking, people only run 48-pitch gears on 1/10-scale vehicles. I wouldn't expect that you would find a 32p gear that fits that vehicle. 32p is generally reserved for nitro cars. If you're chewing up gears frequently I would start looking at gear mesh. It sounds like your mesh is too loose. Next time you set your mesh put a small strip of paper in between your pinion and spur gear. Smash the gears together with the paper inbetween. Then tighten your motor screws up and you should have a nice mesh set. It also helps to thread-lock your motor screws. A good crash can loosen your mesh and strip a gear. That happened to me the first time I ran my 22T. Stick with the stock spur gear, check your mesh frequently and you should be fine.
thank you for the input i will try that and the thread lock to. i am wanting to get out of this truck and get me a 4x4 slash.
