need some info

    ok i have broke the trans in my truck now two times the idler gear once and know ripped the teeth off my diff and it is cuz the hole in the gear cases are wore out and i would like to find a set of aluminum gear cases. i have a duratrax evader ext. was hoping that someone on here might know where i could find them.

    Just buy the stock cases and assemble it correctly, there is something else at play here causing you grief.

    If you are in Grants Pass there are two hobby shps in town one on E st &  one on 6th st.
    The stock parts should be fine, If you do not have bearings on the transmisson output shafts, that would be a wise upgrade in durability,if you do have bearings,check the bearings for play, they should only spin and have no side play, and spin very smoothly. Parts do ware out and break,its part of the deal.

    the idleier gear shaft holes in the case are always is what is wore out and has slope.
