GPS, home lock is what you want. Forget about course lock for now, for what you do that will screw you up. But home lock which is available at the flip of a switch will bring the multirotor back to its launch site by just pulling the right stick straight back. This would certainly help you with lost orientation at a distance. Make sure to read the instructions closely as using this feature too much can cause problems.
