Hi all. Happy to see a So. Or. forum.

Very new to the RC thing, and of course dove head first. Picked up a xr10 kit and have been gathering parts.

    So far:
    xr10 kit
    hi-tec ht7950 servo
    2x HH sport 45t motors
    2x tekin fxr esc's
    cc bec 10amp
    proline chisel tires.
    skyline gt3b hacked controller (6channel mod) w/ 3channel rx.

With that said Im very frustrated trying to wire this thing up! I would glady pay a local to wire this thing up so I can get on the rocks. This is not my fortee and don't want to half a$$ it myself seeing what I have already put into it. Everything is assembled, just need the final soldering/wiring done.

Anyway going to keep poking around the forum here.  Would be fun to have a running truck to wheel with some of you. I live in CP.

I do also have a traxxis summit for a little more of the bashing style.

    Thanks!

If you need a hand let me know. I don't mind wiring up twin setups and actually rather enjoy it. I can do them decased, squished, or about any other way you might wish. You have about the perfect setup going there with what you have. Looks like you did some research and chose the right stuff to make a great truck. I use the same radio on my berg and it has worked out pretty well for me. It does some odd things from time to time but for the price it cant be beat really. You might also want to look into some axle cases and or motor plates with the upgraded bearings/bushings. They are a little spendy but will save you more money and downtime later on. If not the  cases and plates maybe the rc4wd gears. Shoot me a pm if you are interested in some help and I will see about getting you taken care of and onto the rocks. Here are a couple pics of some wiring i have done here recently

Sweet setup! I did sometime on  rccrawler reading through the builds and coming up with the gear I wanted to get started with.

Plates, gears, and some VP stuff will come. Just hoping to get it running to play around a little.

    Sending a PM.

    Thanks

Highland crawler is a little limited in being able to respond to things right now. He and his wife just had a baby, and they ha ve been away from home for quite some time. He will get back to as soon as he can. I can tell you this much though, the guy knows what he is doing with a crawler. He has built a couple of badass crawlers for me in the past. He is what i refer to as a mad scientist in the crawler world.

No messages will be saved in your sent items unless you have turned it on manually.  The default is off (unchecked) because the Personal Message system has a limit on the messages each member can have to save space on the server.
