my velineon speed control wigs out with an 8000 mah 2 cell lipo!!!???

thought it was the power wire coming out of speed control had adam at sleds re solder it for me comes on fine but then shuts down is it over voltage or what ?????

Sounds like maybe your ESC is set for 3 cells.  That's exactly what it would do.  I'd check that first.
