My Old trucks (lots of pictures)

    My first crawler , this in its time actually passed for a scaler. when i got it the only rules for the scale class were the wheel base had to fit the wheel wells of the body, and had to have drive shafts. that was pretty much it.
    specs
    Built sometime in early 2005
    ESC: some weird boat esc
    Servo: hightec 540something
    Motor: integy 55 turn lathe
    Radio: TQcrap
    axles: tlt with jb weld dif lock
    Chassis: homemade tvp , home made links and mounts and cross braces, and home made servo plates
    trans: stampede again locked with jb weld
    rims and tires: moabs glued to hpi rims, with outer edges cut off to narrow the rim.
    shocks: max shocks with green springs
    i only have one picture of it.

    I then tore it apart for a full chassis scaler.
    Specs:
    Built in late 2005
    ESC: same boat esc
    Servo: same hitec
    Motor: venom 21 turn double
    Radio: TQcrap
    Axles: Tlt
    Chassis: Diaz leaf chassis. vendor made leaf sprung chassis.
    Body: parma 57 chevy stepside, custom inner fender wells drop bed with rhino lining, painted inside and out, custom aluminum grill.
    Trans: stampede
    Rims/Tires: stampede rears with outside and inside bead cut off, imex swamp dogs, star cut foams
    Shocks: leaf springs, tlt shocks
    Other: hand made trans mount made with a hacksaw, a drill , and a file. clod front bumper.
