Hey guys I'm having an issue with my mini revo just wondering if anyone might have an idea on whats going on. I was running my revo in the house (I was using my serial connector because I was being lazy and didn't want to look for my parallel connector) after about 2 minutes of running it it just stopped it still turns just fine but will not go at all there is no light on the ESC and it wont turn off once its on you have to unplug it. Anyone got any ideas? I'm hopping its something simple and I don't have to replace the ESC or the motor.

Try unpluging the servo if the servo shorted it will cause the esc to not work. If it is the servo the esc should work fine as long as the servo is unpluged.

Thanks for the reply. Ive tried that and still no luck, im starting to think its fried its just weird because there was no warning what so ever it just quit on me all at once it dont smell burnt or anything and you would think if it was the esc it would totally quit no power to anything. I know traxxas will just want me to send it in and pay them more than a new more powerful setup will cost.

I had a pretty similar issue and it was the ESC. your only options are bring it to a shop and have them slave in a new esc or motor to troubleshoot. or send to traxxas. traxxas has a pretty sweet deal called power up which will give you a new part for about half price through any participating dealer.

Well thanks for the reply, im thinking it was the esc I ended up selling it and a brushed one for 160. Im wanting to get a full size one now I hear they are more fun than the minis and my mini was awesome
