That thing is going to rip, what voltage are you planning on running? 4s?

That thing should hold up really well.  Maybe you will be able to hit the branches of that tree on B Street after all!

Did that change to the suspension help with the CV drives popping out?

Lol 4S would rip that thin apart.

It takes 1/10 motor and in this thing you don't need much but 4pole is a must.

Also the ten t electric is one of the funnest rc I've owned,it jumps so nice and smooth and with the tekin pro 4 4600kv and RX8 it was really fast.

Only bummer is mod .1 pinions.

I am looking to part with the engine.  It runs perfect and even has roto-start on it.

I plan to run 4s at first but may end up dropping to 3 if its too wild.  I am hoping to get this truggy around a track fast and I'm concerned 4s will be hard to control so we will see.  I'm also curious to see if the drive train will hold up.

I hope it does!  Although I'm working on my driving skills and hope to avoid trees in the future.. :D  The revo has done well since you helped me with the suspension.  I still feel like the CV's were more centered without the RPM kit in the rear.

means2k was the previous owner and I remember him mentioning it jumped really well.  I'm hoping it will hold up to landings better then the revo.  I think I've replaced the front and rear bulkheads twice.  Not to mention a chassis.

This is way tougher then a revo and flies way better,I have jumped mine 10'+ and landed on every corner and barely caused some play.

One  thing tho with this truck and the scte is they need a center chassis brace for front to back rigidity,it still allows twist just not hard core flex front to back.

I madr mine out of a carbon archery arrow with revo rod ends and it did wonders, which reminds me i have extra carbon and aluminum arrows if you want one to make it? Free.

Hi All - Got parts in last Friday and made some progress Sunday night.

I had to modify the part of the top brace to get it to line up.

Pic of the brace after I modified it.  I used a die grinder with cut off wheel to shave it down.  I had to keep the RPM's down to prevent melting but it worked well otherwise.

    Top Brace in!  :)

I had a few snags just like any conversion.

    - Motor has 4mm Bullet connectors, ESC had 6.5.  No worky!  (The ESC was previously in an SC8E, which now has a mamba monster  ;D).  The SC8E comes with the 1/8th scale 2200kv motor and thus needed the 6.5.  Adam @ Sleadds has the ESC and will be soldering on the correct bullets.  Thanks Adam!

    - Castle 1415 has an 1/8th pinion (3.2 mm).  Oversight on my part.  Try finding mod 1 pinions with 1/8th shaft.  After some research, I found that ofna makes some pinions that should fit so I ordered one up.

Should be up and running soon!

The pic above shows how I ran the ESC wires and switch under the battery tray and decided to keep the nice little off/on switch that was used when it was nitro.  Besides, I didn't really find a great place to mount the switch anyway.  To do this, I had to cut a hole in the new plate that came with the receiver box.  I like how it turned out.

Hey GPNate - Will you have this project done by this Saturday?  It might dry up and we could organize a B Street Jumps meetup.

Great!  The latest weather says it might stop raining Friday.  Hopefully it will dry out some by Saturday.

I might be able to make it later in the day.  The Ten T needs a pinion which I have on order at sleadds so if it comes in I will bring it.
