looks like we are losing a field

it seems that douglas county rc flyers is going to lose our field at the yard ranch. from what i have been told, the sale closes on the 25th. apparently, the new owners are going to remodel and expand the camping/rv areas. i guess we will find out for sure after the sale.

well it official. got this email this a.m.

> The sale of the Yard Ranch will be closing this month. Therefore, we will be moving our equipment from the Yard field to the Henry Estate Winery flying field.

> This will take place at the Yard Ranch beginning at about 9:00am next Thursday - September 19th. The items being moved are: the tent-canopy, the starting stands, the two flagpole stands, and the mower. The porta-john will be moved by the servicing company.

> We will load up at Yard’s and then drive to Henry’s. There, we will first rearrange things in the barn to accommodate the equipment being moved in. A flat-bed trailer has been lined-up but we will need some willing workers - hope to see you next Thursday ~ bring your work gloves!

Sorry to hear about your flying field. It sounds like you've found a alternative already if I understood your last message correctly.
