{D'oh} Voltage too LOW ---> Hyperion G3 CX 11.1V 3S 850mAH 25C/45C

I don't need to pretend I "USE" to know how to fix but a little guidance is needed as this certainly is the first time I've had a low voltage issue
The problem or the blunder was I had used this LiPo without using a Low Voltage Cutoff (LVC) and predictably I drained this battery WAY past it's recommended 3v per CELL and my charger is being very unyielding about NOT wanting to charge ... Yes there's the possibly this LiPo's "Internal Resistance" is already too low but still I want to TRY fixing, technically this is a brand new LiPo ...

Please I need the FIX asap, need the procedure and/or the LINK to teh FIX

Meh, I know some HELP has been posted around here someplace but were suffering a little "Old Farts Brain Fart" at the moment thus why the post !?!

Thanks Gents

Yes that's the thread I was looking for and needing, thanks GC

Although the LiPo is not "puffed" it's voltage is certainly the problem {LOL} w/ a total voltage of 4.5v yes Huston "we have a problem"  [IMG]
Either way my charger is telling me to "Get RUST"

EDIT: Guess we could/should consider THIS thread about MY attempt at fixing! whooHoo ---> Stay tuned, were going into the darkside {LOL}

Found the following over at RcGroups, looks pretty comprehensive and it covers my charger. Just found it and haven't been through it yet but it may work for me

The search function on this forum is pretty good.  Try it: enter lipo in the search box.

I hear that Bill, at least I TRY to make a good and informative TITLE for ALL my posts. This I do for the search engine
and myself in the event I or any of us need to find the information after the "altimerzs" sets in and we've forgotten
{LOL} Hey DID ya know, I found everyday a surprise and wonder with altimerzs  :eek: LOL J/K

Speaking about "remembering" I liked your idea for an FAQ for all the TIP's and useful LINKS setup in one EASY to FIND
central location.

Bill maybe ya should BUMP that thread again to GET the idea moving along as IMO I thought it was an excellent idea,
yeah. The ONLY issues I see w/ FAQ's per say is the need of have someone step-up and create them. That is also often
the missing step as in more cases than NOT as peeps that have the IDEA are often NOT the ones willing to do the work
and create them.  Or whats even worse is when an FAQ gets created but is never updated nor moderated and kept fresh,
meh if this be the case it's better NOT to create the thing in the first place!

NOT saying that's you Bill as it's only a general observation but I do believe the one with "idea" should be the one to
create it. That said I'd be willing to help w/ FINDING submitting some content but I wouldn't WANT to take ownership and
be responsible for it's entire creation and moderation

Again I would be willing to HELP if you wanted to get the FAQ started  8)

Perfect JOB done ... Charge has nicd or nimh, I used nicd up to or just over 9v ... Then charge normal LiPo to it's "storage" voltage ... w00t

Nice. Glad to hear it worked.
I wish I hadn't been so hasty in getting rid of the battery I had with low a cell.  :(

It happens, I tossed a 2200mAH 3S LiPo about a year back but then I didn't know what I know now. Although that LiPo was puffed and nearing the end with respects to how many cycles it had left. I suppose it could have been "fixed" but given I got good life or good use tossing it wasn't that much of a loss

EDIT: Whoops I forgot to say thanks, thanks Bill and thanks to ALL that helped along my road of discovery
