Hey Steve 40 - You should consider putting your racing events on the calendar instead of the Off Road forum because it will appear in the upcoming events automatically as the date approaches.  See how to put a event on the calendar here:

Another benefit is people can get a view of what racing is happening, and when, in one place instead of hunting through a whole lot of postings.

Yep. I've got a XXX-NT2 that just needs a new steering servo. I know Steve and a handful of Klamath guys have nitro stadium too.

Im planning on making it. Heather has us going to a BBQ at 2pm but we can be late. The rain might come and spoil that anyways, hopefully it stays nice at the track.

Planning on racing 2wd SC and Electric Stadium truck. I splurged and bought a new FT SC-10 4x4 but I doubt it will arrive in time.

Stadium Truck A-Main video. Eric recorded mostly my red X-60 but gets some footage of the other cars. The White/flames TLR22T that leads the first lap finished with the checkered flag, lapped traffic helped me get close at the end. Great Race!

Great photos.  It looks like you beat the rain too.

That SC10 body looks familiar.  ;)

It's getting pretty beat up. Time for a new one. The first pic shows another sc-10 with a vintage rc10t paint job I really liked.

Correct. They are racing next weekend so as to alternate with White City. That way us Medford guys have the opportunity to visit either track without having to "play favorites."

My opinion on the new(ish) layout is excellent. The rhythm section is reworked and it's easier overall without being too dependent on speed and timing. Moving the tabletop helps tremendously with depth perception. The S-turn has moved and is slightly more open, but there's a jump leading in that can be tricky and a double leading out that takes a lot of torque to clear. There's a fun triple that comes right out of a 45-degree corner that has a big dip right before it, making the first jump feel bigger. It's a fun gap to clear but you really need to be squared up for it, otherwise you'll be cartwheeling into the next turn.

Racing was certainly fun. I would have like to have seen the stadium truck main event broken into an A/B main like they did with short course, though. There were 10 cars in the race and it started to feel like carnage after a few minutes. 2 or 3 cars less would have helped.

what a class act klamath rc roadrunners are.  during the drivers meeting a quick decision was reached to switch the schedule up giving white city track a chance to succeed.  white city track as far as i know badly needs racers, not sure if they had a rain out or another "no show" of racers.  Either way, a group of racers from k-falls made a selfless decision to help a track that is starved for racers.  i'm not affiliated with either track, but am proud to be associated with the klamath crew.    I sincerely hope that this change can allow there to be racing in the rogue valley on a regular basis 8)    see y'all next weekend

ps.  don't smile while marshaling on the berm, or you will get a mouth full of dirt.  just ask me
