hey guys...after reading some of your intro's. Ive come to the conclusion you all seem really smart about aircrafts...i got this rc heli brand new as a gift, its called a 'fly dragonfly 2005' it has two motors and the main rotor is about a foot and a half. Just wondering if its crap? Or if i can hop it up and make it nice? Im a off road rc guy (dont know much about air other than it keeps me alive) so anything is helpful thanks
I just did a few minutes of research and it does seem to have issues with trimming out the yaw, but it does fly, there are lots of YouTube videos. I wouldnt put too much into it as it fits into the toy catagory of helis. It won't work in the wind very well being non cyclic, it appears to be a tilt rotor.
Don't know about that but we will try and share what we can. I was not familiar with your heli so I also googled it and found a few things for you too. First, if this is the heli you have, you need to be aware of this. http://www.wattflyer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=62077 Second, Well, from what I can find, this is basically a toy and if it is the one listed in the recall I think your right.
ok thank you guys...wasnt really expexting much...and i dont know why i didnt google it...but i appreciate it...time to re gift
Hi goldhellian89 - I don't know where you are located but if you are looking for a good helicopter for learning one of our local hobby shops here in Grants Pass called "Mild to Wild" on "E" Street has two used helicopters that were barely flown for sale. One is a E-Flite CX2 and one is a E-Flite CX3. Both are coaxials with good flying characteristics. Both are going for around $50 off list, but you might be able to negotiate a even better price. For you airplane guys they also have a Hangar 9 F4U Corsair 60 brand new in the box never used that they only want $199 for.
