Oooh, and Christmas JUST passed! I would have gotten it fot you!
I really like the scale looks and that turbine! Very nice. I think the scale heli look so much better than the typical ones we see everywhere. And what an excellent pilot. But, oh my gosh, what was up with that camera man??? I got sick trying to follow him ;)

    {LOL} No surprises there ...

Now "Just because the man is a great helicopter pilot don't make him a great helicopter mechanic" also "Just because the man is a great helicopter mechanic don't make him a great helicopter pilot" which is often a bitter PILL to swallow for the fighter jock ego of the pilot but I'm not here to fix fragile ego's ... 3D helicopters (POD & Boom) require substantially less mechanical and especially artistic skill than their Scale counter parts ... It is amazing how many 3D pilots think they are in the latter category with respects to their skills. But it is NO wonder given how much less skill is required to build a 3D bird as compared to a Scale Heli that 3D Heli's are leaving the stores quicker than quick silver. But really are we not comparing apple to oranges, 3D birds are built for pure POWER and Performances where as Scale Helicopter are built for LOOKS

What a great helicopter!  Good find Tiger.  I think Vario makes the best scale fuselages available.  I really like their carbon fiber large Airwolf.

This was a related video to your's and looks to be the same Vario airframe however this builder went with a three blade head:

That is SO cool.  Can't believe he even made the pilots head move.  Scale stuff is so neat.  Just takes more time, money, and patience than I have.

I would have the patience to build a scale helicopter like that, but flying it and potentially crashing would scare me.
