since the ducks body took such a beating, i decided to paint another, this time a flo-tek chevy body.  havent peeled the outer film yet, or decals either but here it is

used tamiya flat clear to on outside where i wanted the " matte "

Very nice job painting the body.  Kudos for going with some flat black detailing.

Neat idea! I've never thought of painting anything with a matte finish before. But, at the end of the day, it'll just be covered in mud and nobody will notice the difference.  :

@ gp racer, yup still rockin the tenshock.  seems pretty solid, we'll find out for sure on friday in j-ville.

@ nate, not sure when i can make it again to rattlesnake.  I work most saturdays, and i've scheduled off for the OSS in j-ville.  so that doesn't leave much time for redding, but i will make it down there again this year. can't wait to see new layout, got ne pics ?
