For those of us who are already overwhelmed by the never ending cool choices, here is another.
LOL. Those guys are great. The outtakes at the end were funny. I don't care for that camera although it does have a screen, it looks like it is wrapped in shrink wrap. That's pretty cheesy. Maybe it only costs ten bucks though so when it starts falling apart you don't really care very much.
Looks like it was stripped down to the bare necessities to keep weight to a minimum. At 48 grams it is less than half the weight of the GoPro Hero2, and at $149.99 it is also half the cost. The split screen shows a somewhat muted color from the Horyzon camera, while (IMO) the GoPro is overly saturated - both of which can be corrected in post editing. Both seem to have the same FOV and looking at the specs for each have the same resolutions available - including 1280x720p @ 60fps! In addition to the built-in screen, the Horyzon cam also has built-in output for a VTx - something the GoPro does not. I think at half the weight and half the cost I can accept its minimalist packaging and take it for what is is - an equal to the GoPro (IMO) I'll bet I can mount this on my MQX and make it work!
