This is what the previous video was about: Horizon Hobbies Vaterra line of cars and trucks: http://www.horizonhobby.com/content/_storefronts_render-vaterra Maybe these are good, maybe not. What is suspicious is that they don't have a single photo of the chassis to look at.
You just don't have your nose close enough to the grindstone buddy. They are partially already here. Look here for products and specs along with pics www.vaterrarc.com They are UK Losi rigs and should prove to be fairly decent. The most anticipated one at the moment is the twin hammers.
Thanks for the link I had not seen that. I didn't see any close up photos of the chassis of these rigs, except on of the rear end on the on-road Nissan. Judging from those and the price they seem to be a step up from toy grade, lots of plastic and hardly any metal.
Most Hobby rc's are "plastic" now. Look at a wraith for instance, all plastic other than trans outputs and axle shafts.
True. I guess this is how they are trying to lower the cost barrier for entry for folks getting into the hobby. Some companies, like Associated and Losi, offer their factory team kits for folks who want a little more.
I know, it's crazy. Just today I was looking at the TEN-SCTE 2.0 Kit which costs $469.99 on the Horizon Hobby website. But I bet if we added up the cost of all the aftermarket parts we've put into some of our rigs we'd find we were at that price or possible even higher. When I purchased some of my kits the upfront kit cost was OK, but I think I just didn't want to think about the cost of some of those aftermarket parts I added.
