Does anyone have a way to cut a piece of wood, or any other inexpensive or free material, into a circle 18 inches in diameter? The material needs to be 1/4 inch thick minimum. The material can be wood, metal or plastic. The only important thing is that it is a decent circle and not oval. Thank you.
Gotcha covered. I just burned-out an aluminum disk. It's only .125" thick, but I have .500" marine ply laminate (plywood) that we can use the aluminum template on. I don't have anything .250" thick at the moment. Let me know what works best for you and I'll get it done
That's awesome Mike, thank you! .500" plywood would work perfectly. I could use just about anything as long as it is round with a smooth circumference.
All done. You can pick it up here in Merlin if you're going to be out and about anyway, or I'll be home around 3:30-ish if you want to come by my place and pick it up
Sweet! Where are you in Merlin? I have a appointment in Murphy from 1:30 to 2:30 by New Hope. I thought once you told me there was a way from there to where you live.
Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. Looks like I'm too late for pickup here in Merlin. Call me after 3:30 and we'll figure it out.
