that was a good time. great folks to crawl some rocks with. we should pick another spot and do it again.
It was great to meet more fellow SouthernOregonRC.com members at the crawl. I got to meet some new and familiar folks. You guys are a great bunch and I learned a lot. Thank you. Next time I'll have my crawler running. Here are the videos I shot from the quadcopter. Sorry they are not very good, I still need to practice with the camera mounted. John that is just awesome. Thanks you for posting those clips. Also thanks for subjecting you new bird to the kinda crappy weather conditions to capture that for us. I cant believe how smooth the video turned out considering some very quick wind gusts. I would like to get together with you and talk about some video ideas I have had for a while now. I have plans in my head for a bunch of neat things I haven't seen done before. It was a great day for some crawling and was nice to put some faces with names finally. I enjoyed hanging out and talking trucks with everyone. It was cool getting to see crawlerbubbas pimp mobile in person to appreciate the beauty of that ride. I think I will organize a monthly meetup for us to all get together. No competitions or anything just getting together and having fun with our scalers and crawlers. I look forward to hanging out with you guys again and may have to put on my big girl panties and dust off some of my bashers and race trucks to come and play at b st and Harbeck with you guys.
Hey Erin - I'd really like to hear your ideas for shooting some videos. If you have time this coming weekend let me know and maybe we can meet someplace and chat. I think a monthly rock crawler meetup would be a great idea. Get your on-road stuff going and come out to Harbeck next time.
