    Very cool.  For a minute there I thought he was going to get tangled up in those blue lines he was dragging.

    They just kept spooling out, really long reel on that thing. Would be good for trawling in the bay for Salmon.

    I took a KML file from one of my My Tracks flights and watched it on Google Earth but I didn't get the elevation view/3D effect for some reason.  Have you ever opened one of your My Tracks KMLs and viewed it in Google Earth?

    From my old phone I have a track that does show a 3D view of the My Tracks data. But my new phone will not do it, not sure what changed between the two.

    I think it's not the phone, but the My Tracks app that changed.  Do you recall the last update?  It also changed the widget.

    Not sure, I have so many apps that they all blend into one after a while...
