I am trying to determine the frequency of the Futaba BLS156HV brushless servo for operation in a gimbal. The Naza choices for output frequency are: 50 hz 100 hz 200 hz 400 hz I presume that the Futaba BLS156HV can operate at 400 hz but wanted to ask if anyone has an opinion. The Futaba website and specifications page does not seem to offer this information: http://www.gpdealera.com/cgi-bin/wgainf100p.pgm?I=FUTM0750 Any comments are appreciated.
John, have you transposed the numbers on the servo model number. I can' seem to find that servo anywhere. Here is a good source of info, but yous isn't there. http://www.ronlund.com/rcheli/HELP_SERVO_PULSE.html
You also need to know what the centering is, usually above 200 you start to get into 760, but not always. For a gimble 50hz should be ok, but I know you want the best, 200 is a typical tail rotor and is really fast. Certainly enough for a gimble, and is ok with 1520 centering.
@Bill - No, it is a Futaba BLS156HV. See the link I posted, it has the details. That Ron Heliproz South list is dated, as is ServoDatabase because I also own a Futaba BLS157HV in my i/8 scale on-road OFNA GTPe and it is also not on the list.
