Not very scientific, but still interesting and useful except for Test #4 which I would consider bogus. I'd love to see these same comparisons done on a bench with real test equipment rather than a motorcycle. ...Tiger
Was a good watch, but I agree, the first test could have been drastically different just by moving a tripod 3" left or right. I have a scanner antenna here in my house and a full quiet signal from a UHF repeater to a total loss is about 4" North vs South.
I think the tests were good enough to eliminate some of the LRS systems from my short list and enforce some previous choices.
