so first outside flight went better than expected! i was kinda figuring it out but flying a 4 channel is harder than anticipated. i need a smaller 4 channel to practice on i think. all in all i love this heli & i cant wait to figure it out!
Joe - You've already got the best little heli on the planet to learn with. Just stick with it and you'll be fine. Buying a smaller "toy" heli is just a step backwards. ...Tiger
Assuming you had a compatible Tx a good Helicopter Flight Simulator such as Phoenix which optionally does come w/ a TX or Real Flight might be the better and give you more than a smaller (lesser) heli ... It will teach the needed "Muscle Memory" (which will be VERY different for each "type" of helicopter) and could help or teach you how to fly a true Cyclic/Collective Pitch Mixing (CCPM) helicopter. Which alternately could help you decide if you want to progress into a CCPM heli. Either way better bang for your dollar (IMO) than another, even lesser helicopter Welcome to the club ... Congratulations on your flight ... Flying helicopters is without a doubt certain FUN
ok, so i will invest in a flight simulator. i cant believe how durable this little helicopter is! i plowed this thing into the ground 4 or 5 times and came away with only a broken landing skid! amazing. i think it was a bit windy for my skill level, but i had the flying itch and had to get it out of me!thanks guys for all your advicea!!!!
Joe - I just confirmed with Chris that the next indoor flying at Lincoln Savage in Murphy is next Wednesday (21st) so bring your 120 there. It's a great place to fly it. ...Tiger
