first 1/8 bug

    not seriously into 1/8, but like it. We don't have any races over here so I went budget. first buggy. Santa brought me this.

    yes, it's a OFNA/hongnor NEXX8.
    As I said, since this is my first 1/8 scale I pretty much went budget on the whole project. The kit is nice for entry level. and I am happy with it overall. there is some things I like and something's not as much, but for a total invested of about $500 for the whole shootin match, I am pretty happy. the chassis layout was really what I liked most and the easy transition from 1/10 with saddle packs.
    Now I am Just waiting on a program card and am going to upgrade the servo. (The solar d771 is fast anc center well, but doesn't have the beans)

    Went with this brushless system but the 150a esc was too big so I swapped it for a HW sc8 120a instead.

    I'm up for a on-road 1/8 scale meetup weather permitting.  In addition to street tires I think the ride height on the NEXX8 will need to be lowered don''t you agree?  Maybe a on-road body too.
