Just to start a topic, I had a wire on my esc(traxxas vxl system) the ones to the battery, my system is over 3yrs old. Start to feel loose, upon inspection, wires are frayed and loose, I installed new connector, and the power is on! Way more speed and torque than before. So pay attention to electrical leads!

Interesting.  So there were strands in the copper wire broken, but not all?  Would you say the motor/ESC temperature have dropped since the repair?

If anything, the temp would go up!

My temps very rarely are high, low gearing 16/54 32p, but seemed sluggish, installed New traxxas connector, Alls good now. Lol
