Google will most likely be the information provider for future terrorist attack methods. What an idiot.

Sometimes I think Google is a branch of the government. They certainly have the same attitude. They just want us to be their subjects. They know what's best for us so we should just shut up and do what they say. They are a perfect match for the current administration. Google sucks!

I have to admit this opinion of Google's Eric Schmidt surprises and worries me. The rich are not into democratizing things that's for sure.

Especially coming from someone who's goal in life is to capture as much information about peoples lives as possible and make it all publicly available.

Yes, some of it becomes publicly available in the process. But, Google isn't doing it out of the kindness of their heart or because they love you. They are "gathering" (or stealing if necessary) your information (often against your will) to sell. These mega companies are all starting to emulate the government. They would all rather become dictators rather than servants of the people (their customers). I have no problem with them making money (lots of money - tons of money!) in the process of running their business. That's what the free enterprise system is all about. It's when they get big enough that they think they can walk on you, take what they want, and strangle you into submission that I start having a problem with it.
