Not sure where to ask this, but that's my question. I have an old Losi 10th truck with a sandrail chassis and a
brushless setup. Paddles in the back, can't I just tighten the clutch for no-slip? Thanks for the help...

Not sure what others would say. But if I were on the sand i would tighten it all the way down. Without stressing the diff. Adjust your slipper depending on traction. But if your tearing it up on sand alot. You'd have more fun with 4wd

If your running a hot setup with 4wd on paddles yep if it's a milder setup 2wd with pins or less aggressive tire not so much

im not using a slipper on my HPI build, which will be purely for soft sand at the dunes. the sand slips enough, its getting a 8k clutch and a locked diff.
