You see these on a lot of gimbals, but you can hardly find them available for sale separately. What do you think they mean with the weight specification?

Not sure, maybe a deviation from a certain size/length when a given load is applied to it?

The products page, like to many Chinese online shops, is very scarce of information. They sell 100g, 200g and 300g versions, although I only found the 100g and 300g models.
So is the 100g *rating* for each or for the set? Then the next question is if it's for the set the 100g seem to come in a 2 each pack but the 300g seem to come in a 4 pack. So if it's 100g for 2 pieces then is it 200g when you use 4?

I doubt there is anything scientific about the weight rating. I suspect it's an arbitrary number bases on the harness of the rubber (durometer rating). I think it's safe to assume that any specification is based on four grommets since it would be impossible to make a stable configuration with only two. Three would be possible, but it wouldn't make much sense to rate it that way. If anyone is going to order these, I wouldn't mine getting in on the order for a few to play with.

I am planning to order some but don't know when. Probably in a week or two. I will let you know before I order. If you order before me I would also like to get in on the order.

Did you see this plate: http://www.fpvmodel.com/_p524.html ? It has 8 damper balls and seems to be a universal type mount.
