That's cool! Every RC Mancave needs one of those.

So here is the word on buying yours. He's giving you a year to save.

"Unfortunately the ceiling fan is not yet available for purchasing, because we are still working on its final version. You have to know that first working prototypes were very expensive (about 15,000 Dollars each), so we had to rethink the project from scratch, in order to arrive on the market with a not too much expensive product, obviously maintaining the same quality and the same level of attention to details.
We hope to be able to sell it at about 1,500 Dollars when ready. It could be available for shipment before the next summer.
The final model will work as a ceiling lamp too and it will be controlled by its touchscreen remote control and (probably) by any smartphone under wi-fi. There are also other improvements but we want wait to announce them.
Don't worry, I'll advise you as soon as we have news."

    Thanks for your patience.

    Best regards,
    Raffaele Iannello

That is cool, but geeez, that is a lot! Might as well just get a trex 700, put and AC motor in it and run negative pitch.

That's what I was thinking. It looks like it's just a Align helicopter to me. I would keep it DC and run a regulator on the ESC to dial in the speed you want. GPBill already has the whole set including the body.
