Went up to cathedral hills today. Was looking for some nice trails which I did, and it turn into a 3 hour hike scouting for a secluded spot, to be outta the way of other hikers and cyclist. My buddy and I are gonna set up a hidden trail the leads to our hidden small course. The idea is to take our crawlers and tow our short course trucks on trailers to this hidden spot.. then we race and jump. .. and it right in town.
Looks like a great place to crawl. I like the first picture with the truck. You know if the leaves weren't in the picture to give away the scale it would look like a full size truck.
Yes and yes.. it was more like going on a hike with my truck. There is mossy feilds and bolders witch looked awseome and some steep hills. But again I want to get out of the way of other trail user witch is why were gonna make our own trail leading to a short course. Theres a few trails blocked by logs. And deer trails to make for more hidden trail. Plus so much earth material to make the best scale crawler trail. Ill get more pictures maybe a video and post them tommarow so u guys have a better visual with what were working with. I love the place theres alot to climb , parking lot , and a pooper. Much different than when I was a kid. And its close. Right off grandveiw. Ill show progress in this thread as well.
