   I've seen a few guys build DIY '"Steadycams" from RC gimbal controllers. Makes sense to me too. All you really need to do is replace the airplane/helicopter/multirotor with a handle. Most of the RC gimbal controllers have USB for tuning so just balance it for your camera and away you go. The Steadycam guys must hate this stuff.
