Would look COOL, just don't fly em
... It's very illegal to fly any RC Aircraft w/ propellers or blades (Heli) made out of metal!

Of course.  Making helicopter main blades from brass is just plain silly.  They should be made from very sharp machetes.  Take that Quentin Tarantino.

A minature brass 450 blade would make a neat 3d project...

You have my vote, would even make a good product for sale, to add to your product line
... don't forget the tail blades to make it a 'set' [IMG]

Question: How hard would it be to make the blades out of that 'plastic' you used to make my quick release [IMG]
... Blades like that w/ custom 'engraving' would be cool ...

The plastic would be easier than the brass, the hard part is just drawing the thing up in CAD. But is doable.

If we made the mains out plastic do you think 'that' type sturdy or strong enough to fly?
It's too much to ask of a 600 for sure but ...
I know they make plastic main blades for my GAUI 200 which fly pretty darn good considering ...
They even make em for 450's although plastic blades for the 450's are really terrible because they flex too much

If I had a CNC machine I would be thinking 'custom' airfoils ;)
