My girlfriend just got a Traxxas E-Maxx brushless edition and she was out running it a couple times this weekend.  That thing is awesome.

Run away! lol  E-maxx are good trucks in general but once you add brushless power of your not careful they implode.  Alot of of us in the offroad hobby have tried to convince people that if you want a durable monster truck go with an 1/8th scale of some kind and put monster truck wheels on it.  Much better diffs, shocks, chassis, drivelines etc. etc.  Your welcome to come by and take a look for yourself at some examples.  If you really are stuck on a monster truck then go with an hpi savage, they are some of the most durable out there.

My girls truck is brand new so I can't speak for durability. Sinistercad seems to have more experience about them. All I know is if it can break she will break it. I'm just the fixer.
She also has a Summit and I have replaced every single drive shaft and every single suspension arm. I got her MIP shafts on the four wheels and the upgrade Traxxas shafts in the center. All the suspension arms are RPM now. Something seems to be binding somewhere in the driveline because it is heating the motor and speedo a lot. It feels rough when I turn it by hand so I'm thinking some bearings may be gone.

I will be at the Dunes this weekend.  Hopefully the revo will survive some jumping  ;D.  If its makes it back in one piece, I'm down for some bashing next week.

buy some shock covers.sand is a shocks worst enemy,i was unfortunate enough to ruin a set on my lst at the dunes.the sand sticks to the moisture on the shock shaft eventually working it's way into the body.noooo good!!!!!! :'(
