hay guys is been a little wile since I posted anything but i thought i would share this with you all.  This is my nito to electric conversion.  It started with a used lst roller witch i then completely dissembled and washed all the parts i was going to uses I then ordered the conversion kit and some other goodies, like a carbon fiber chassis kit and the performance kit from losi.  I also got the one speed kit and the wing mount.  When it came to the motor and esc I went with tekin because of there sensored  1/8 motor.

here's and update.  Got most of the chassis put together and the trans installed.  Also got the motor put in but then relized that the wires need to lay down for the battery tray to fit over the top.  but other than that it seems to be coming together quite nicely.

Hey Bartjuice - Your build is looking great.  Is that Losi motor mount part of the conversion kit?  It looks like it is also a heat sink.
Are those the gigantic shocks like on the Losi "Aftershock"?

Ya that motor mont came in the kit with a lot of other nifty stuff like a battery tray some tranny gears and some stand offs. I think think the gears were to rais the internal gearing to better suit the electic motor.  Also it dose use those massive shocks the use a lot of oil, I think I used almost an entire bottle of  losi shock oil.

Very cool.  I'd like to see that truck when you're finished and keep the build photos coming so we can see how it's progressing.

this build is mind bending  and not a fair thing to do to an onlooker on a budget ;). Are you keeping the stock JR radio and servos?.... I like the new chassis,I along with others have bent the stock set up as these are meant to be flogged hard & like it. 8)-I love the Revo/E-Revo, I can't wait to see how it goes.

hay guys it time for an update.  Got most of it assembled witch included a receiver box, the rear wing,  a arms, and suspension assembly.  I had a little trouble getting the battery tray to fit over the motor so i had to do a little trimming to  the ribbing on the underside.  Other than that it was a simple assembly.  When building the shocks i used a bottle and a half of shock oil and it was a bit of a learning curve on how to bleed them properly. I also got the body all painted up and mounted.  I used gaff tap to protect the body from any rubbing witch seems to work quit well. I am now waiting on tires, sper, pinon, and the slipper bearing. I will post some new picks of the tires when they come in.

Wow, your truck is looking really good!  Did you use a airbrush to paint the body?
