Thats pretty cool but I doubt most of us have bluetooth 4.0 devices unless its a recent phone or tablet. Im back with the cutting edge bluetooth 2.1.

My roommate is working on something similar, he is making a little system with a 5 inch touch screen that plugs into the OBD2 port and has menus that allow different perameters to be observed as well as automatically decode various trouble codes. The theory is to mount it in the dash. Itll even have thigs like 0-60 timer, off road inclinometer, ect.

Not to brag or anything, but I do.

I've been wanting to try this out with a bluetooth OBD2 scanner, but the lack of a "good-looking" Android app really turns me off. The most popular app, Torque seems horribly designed. A nice, functional, clean, holo-themed app that did all the same functionality as in the original post would be awesome. Here's to hoping the fall release for the Android app holds up, I might give it a go.
