I believe we've watched videos from these folks before at the University of Pennsylvania. I'm thinking they are having way to much fun to be getting an education. This is pretty cool stuff. I have enough trouble getting one of something to fly let alone many at the same time.
You're right Bill, that is just too cool for school. I wonder if they offer a correspondence course that includes a swarm of quadrotors?
haha I just watched this on Huffington Post and was coming here to post it. Amazing technology at work!
Here is another cool one by our friend David.
Ya, you could sense a little panic. There wouldn't have been any picking up the pieces of that one had it gone down.
These multirotor guys keep raising the bar, FPV formation flying inside of a parking garage! Really?!!!! Just too cool 8) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYa-0obMudw&t=1m14s
It looks like Juz is at it again. I can't imaging that at the part where he flew down a level he was on the the higher level, but flew down into the level he was in. Way too much concrete and steel to get that much signal strength.
Here is the latest edition of the Quad Bots in action, turn up your volume! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_sUeGC-8dyk
You know, most kids come out of college with an education that will get them through life in a way that they can better them selves and perhaps the world around them if they are lucky. These kids are going to have all that plus memories to carry with them that go well beyond the normal "sports, party and girls or guys" stuff. They just keep upping the ante every time I watch one of their videos. Whats next? ;D
LOL, good one. You reminded me of the movie "Silent Running". In the movie the main character gets operated on by some robot drones. Great old movie if you haven't seen it already.
