I think this is the first time I've seen the motors mounted inverted. In a way maybe this is good because the typical mounting method has all the weight on a small "e" or on the better motors a circlip. 50 minutes of flight time! I wish I had that. I wonder if it's the same reason that a helicopter tail rotor pushes instead of pulls, more thrust available that way.
They won't even list the price, just a link to "Request a Quote". Given what that likely means for a street price, I would think, John, that you could easily get a 50 minute flight time for much less $$. Not sure about the 1080p IR streaming camera though. That may still set you back a few pennies
I bet you're right Mike. I'd bet we're talking upwards of $10K for one of those base models. 50 minutes is a long time. I managed to get my hexacopter to lift two 6400 Mah 3S LiPos before a prop failure put a stop to my endurance test, but even so I was expecting to see 30-35 minutes max. Those 6400 Mah batteries are about a pound each. That machine is a quad and I don't know what props it's swinging but they don't look that big to make a difference.
