Any other 5th scalers out there besides me and sinistercad? I'll have mine goin again today with a new bartolone reed motor and gotta break it I'm with a gallon so I'll be tryin to find a spot hopefully later if it warms up to break it in. Would like to gather up some other 1/5 and go find a spot or something sometime soon? What my truck looks like now.
This Losi was pretty dirty as you showed in one of your other photos. May I ask what you used to clean it? Did you use the same stuff on the plastic and aluminum parts?
Well I'm an "other" but I don't really count as I haven't found the time to get mine up and running for the first time, still a virgin. Took it 100% apart and washed it all in soapy water with a toothbrush. All the bearings were inspected closely and any that were gritty got soaked in liquid wrench overnight and made smooth again. It won't be clean very long,that's for sure.
I'm gonna try to,someone wants to meet me at my track spot to rally and hit the jump and I said I would be out there.
