Hello all, I am new to this Board, and I am enjoying it very much. What I have to offer is my collection of vintage R/C 'stuff' from when I first started in this hobby. I do not have any pictures at this time, as all of the items are stored away. It's too much to dig out and photograph. I just want to know if there is any interest. I will try list what I can from memory. 1. A complete FUTABA 4 channel radio system. FP-4FG model. It worked perfectly when stored away. I am sure it will need a new rechargeable batteries by now. Excellent condition, with manual and box, and everything it originally came with. 2. A well flown, crashed, and repaired Goldberg Eaglet 50 airplane. It still flew great before it was stored away. It has an O.S. Max .25 engine on it. 3. A very nice 1/2 A 'Super Chipmunk' airplane. It has a COX Medallion .09 engine on it, and I believe it still has two micro servos installed inside. Great condition. Flew very well. 4. A well flown, crashed, and repaired 'Piece O' Cake' glider airplane. It has a COX Tee Dee .049 engine on it. It flew well before it was stored away, but it's not real pretty. I believe the engine is damaged as well. 5. One or two other airplanes that are in good condition. 6. Various pieces and parts, and equipment. I am not sure what all of this stuff is worth. It may not be worth anything, but someone may be interested in it. I would be willing to sell, trade, or perhaps even give this stuff away to someone that really wanted it, and would put all of it to good use somehow. It all has sentimental value to me, but I will never use it again, and I'm sure my Mom would love it all gone out of her storage room. I don't want to part it all out, I'd like to get rid of all of it at one time. If anyone has any real interest, you can come look at it all. Make me an offer, or we can talk about it otherwise. I'd be willing to trade for a nice small R/C helicopter, or something like that. Thank you all for reading my ad.
Hey @nwo - There was a member posting some time back that was looking for anything by "Cox" if I recall correctly. You may do a search or scour the for sale/wanted forums to track him down. Since some members are not daily visitors you should start a conversation with that member because the website will email notify them of the conversation. Conversations on here are kind of like personal messages on other boards. Good luck!
It does not seem like anyone is a 'daily visitor'. This is one of the slowest Boards I've ever been on. I tried searching for 'cox', but the search function said my query was 'too short' or something like that that. No big deal. My ad is out there anyway, so hopefully someone will see it eventually.
I think there are more daily visitors than daily posters. We are all so old we forget what we were doing on these internets.
