Good find. Hey w00d - do you have any experience with "eneloop" rechargeable batteries? My camera eats batteries while I sleep and I was recently looking at the eneloop batteries after reading some positive reviews.
Actually I use nothing but those Low Self Discharge (LSD) re-chargeable batteries such as the 'eneloops' ... Yes, I would also highly recommend even with their high price tag. ... See list of the four brands I use or have used Also, awhile back I posted about them on my site which summarizes why I like and use them. SANYO eneloop XX: AA, NiMH - 2500 mAh - Tested best but most expensive! Panasonic EVOLTA: AA, NiMH - 2050 mAh SANYO eneloop: AA, NiMH - 1900 mAh SONY CycleEnergy: AA, NiMH - 2000 mAh EDIT: Should note if it's the device itself causing the batteries drainage new batteries won't help you. However if indeed the drain is due to LSD then yes these batteries will help.
I was thinking to try the eneloop 1900 type. I saw a combo kit, on Amazon I believe, that had a set of four with the charger included.
